CPM Syndrome, part 2

Once more …

A fire in a London high rise – people reported dead and injured. The Guardian reports that security issues were raised before – which makes the whole thing even more horrible. Firefighters and helpers are doing their best right now – but if the whole thing could have been avoided?

Whatever the cause of the fire might be – whatever circumstances might have made the situation worse – I simply do not understand how people can tweet and post about it before anything is really known. Some are convinced that immigrants have started the fire, others seem to know that it´s an attack in disguise, people even speculate if the building is set to collapse …

Hello? People?!? Where is your humanity?

First: Feel bad for the people affected – people dead and injured should lead to wanting to help.

Second: Anything you can do to help? Then do it – if not: just shut up.

Third: Thank the firefighters and helpers – and make sure that their working situation gets better – like adequate pay and respect.

Fourth: Read and listen to all the news available – and then might be the first time you actually might think about posts or tweets.

Fifth: Do NOT speculate
